Mattress Comfort Exchange Policy
These rules and regulations govern the 365 Night Sleep Great or Exchange Guarantee.*
Exchange Fee and Delivery Terms
All Program claims are subject to a processing fee. This fee is 10% of the price of the returned item or $199, whichever is greater. This fee covers processing, inspection, and local delivery of the Item. Additional delivery charges may apply for deliveries outside The Mattress Clinic’s local delivery zone. The processing fee is non-refundable and must be paid prior to inspection.
The Mattress Clinic allows a one-time reselection ONLY after the 35-day adjustment period. You have 365 days from the purchase date to exchange your mattress.
Reselection Requirements

You may select a mattress at any value of the same size.

If selecting a mattress of greater value, you must pay the difference.

If selecting one of lesser value, no refund will be issued.

The original purchase must include the recommended mattress protector and 2 pillows for your specific mattress purchased before the mattress is received from The Mattress Clinic.
In most cases, if the mattress is not sleeping as desired, it requires a lateral move (e.g., medium to soft) or a higher-quality mattress to achieve the desired sleep. A cheaper mattress is not the solution to fixing less than desired sleep due to a mattress.
Condition Requirements of the Mattress
The mattress surrendered must be:

stain-free
-
odor-free (smoking, pet odor, etc.)
-
sanitary
-
undamaged
- Law tags attached
We cannot exchange mattresses that are stained; unsanitary; odor damaged (smoking/pet odor); or are ripped, burned, or otherwise damaged. Products must have been used only for their intended purpose, including using the mattress on an appropriate base, frame, or foundation.
Limitations
Please take your time in your reselection choice; only ONE comfort exchange is allowed per customer. Keep all receipts and leave the original law tag attached to the mattress. Your comfort exchange will be voided if the law tag is removed or proof of purchase is lost.
Reselections are not allowed for:

mattress size or height concerns (If you think you have a Cal king, measure twice)

pillows, protectors, sheets, adjustable bases, foundations, or furniture
-
“special sizes” (California King, Split Queen, etc.)
-
custom orders
-
clearance merchandise
-
floor models
-
warranty exchanges
Your mattress reselection will be sold at “normal” sale price and is excluded form special pricing (sales events). If you received a discount on your mattress or qualifying items and want to exchange the mattress, you must pay the difference of the discount(s) given off the regular price the items are sold. Example: If you exchange a medium mattress for the same model but a softer version and you received a discount on the mattress and/or bedding, you must pay:

the difference of any discount(s) previously given

the exchange fee

Additional delivery fee ONLY IF outside of the local delivery zone
- (rare cases) any price increases since your original purchase
For questions, please contact Customer Care. The Mattress Clinic reserves the right to refuse service to anyone that is in violation of or didn't comply with the rules and regulations stated above. Purchases made prior to December 10, 2025, at 10:00 AM CST are subject to the policies active at the time of purchase. Contact the store for clarification regarding earlier transactions. Situations not covered by written policies will be addressed at the owner’s discretion.
