About The Mattress Clinic
The Mattress Clinic is a locally owned, family-operated mattress and massage chair showroom in Moore, Oklahoma. We built the store around a straightforward idea: people should be able to understand what they are buying, experience meaningful differences for themselves, and make an informed decision without being rushed through the process.
That approach shapes everything from how our showroom is organized to how we explain mattress materials, comfort systems, support, adjustable bases, and massage chair technologies. Instead of asking customers to choose from specifications or marketing claims alone, we give them the opportunity to compare products in person and determine which differences actually matter to them.
Why We Started The Mattress Clinic
The Mattress Clinic grew from seeing how confusing mattress shopping had become. Customers were faced with dozens of materials, firmness descriptions, technologies, brands, and marketing claims, yet often had very little opportunity to understand how those differences affected the actual feel of a mattress.
Online mattress shopping added even more choices, but it also created a different problem: trying to make an important comfort decision from specifications, reviews, photographs, and descriptions without knowing how the mattress would feel to the person buying it.
We wanted to build a different type of mattress store.
From the beginning, the goal was to create a showroom where customers could slow down, ask questions, compare meaningful differences, and make their decision based on both useful information and their own experience.
Our Approach to Mattress Shopping
We believe mattress shopping works better when education and physical comparison happen together.
Our team spends significant time learning how different mattress materials and constructions behave, including memory foam, latex, hybrid and innerspring designs, different coil systems, comfort layers, cooling technologies, firmness levels, and adjustable sleep products.
We can explain those differences, but we do not believe an explanation should make the decision for you.
Two mattresses with similar specifications can feel surprisingly different. Two people can also experience the same mattress differently because comfort is influenced by factors such as body shape, sleep position, pressure sensitivity, preferred firmness, movement, and personal preference.
That is why customers are encouraged to try different options, return to mattresses they liked, compare them with alternatives, and take enough time to recognize the differences for themselves.
A Showroom Designed for Real Comparison
The Mattress Clinic has developed into more than a place where mattresses are simply displayed. The showroom is built around giving customers useful reference points.
Mattresses from different brands, comfort levels, materials, and constructions can be experienced during the same visit. Customers can compare how one mattress contours compared with another, how responsive different materials feel, how firmness changes pressure and comfort, and how different support systems affect the overall experience.
We also carry adjustable bases that can be experienced with compatible mattresses. This allows customers to understand how head and foot elevation, zero-gravity positioning, split configurations, and other adjustable features change the complete sleep setup before deciding whether those features are worthwhile for them.

Combining Mattress Knowledge With an Additional Healthcare Perspective
As The Mattress Clinic developed, we added another resource for customers who want a deeper level of guidance during the mattress-selection process.
Quynh Boerner, APRN-CNP, brings a healthcare background and understanding of anatomy to the extensive mattress and sleep-product knowledge developed within our store. For customers who request her involvement, those two areas of knowledge can be considered together while comparing mattresses and sleep setups.
This can be particularly useful when a customer already has a diagnosed condition, known physical limitation, pressure sensitivity, positioning concern, or other health consideration that affects how they experience comfort or sleep.
Quynh does not diagnose medical conditions or prescribe mattresses as medical treatment through The Mattress Clinic. Instead, her healthcare knowledge can provide additional context for information a customer already knows about themselves while our product knowledge helps explain how different mattress materials, constructions, support systems, and adjustable sleep products behave.
The customer then has the opportunity to experience those differences personally before making a decision.
This service is completely optional. Learn more about her background and role on our Meet Quynh Boerner, APRN-CNP page.
How The Mattress Clinic Has Grown
The business has grown beyond the original mattress-shopping concept, but the principle behind it has remained the same: products that depend heavily on personal comfort should be experienced whenever possible before making a significant purchase.
Our mattress selection has expanded across different brands, materials, constructions, technologies, comfort levels, and price ranges. Adjustable bases have become an important part of the showroom as more customers explore complete sleep systems rather than a mattress alone.
We also applied the same comparison-first approach to another product category where specifications cannot adequately describe the experience: premium massage chairs.
Building a Better Way to Shop for Massage Chairs
Massage chairs present many of the same problems we saw in mattress shopping. Product descriptions can explain roller systems, 3D and 4D technology, massage programs, zero-gravity positions, stretching, air compression, heat, and other features, but those specifications cannot tell someone whether they will actually enjoy the massage or fit comfortably in the chair.
Over time, we expanded our massage chair selection so customers could experience meaningful differences between brands, technologies, massage intensities, body fits, roller movements, and advanced features during the same visit.
That part of the business has grown into Oklahoma's largest massage chair showroom, with 10+ premium massage chairs available to try and compare in person.
Customers interested in massage chairs can learn more about the selection and showroom experience on our Massage Chair Showroom near Oklahoma City page.
What Customers Can Expect From Us
Our goal is not to make every customer follow the same shopping process. Some people arrive knowing exactly which mattress, brand, or massage chair they want to experience. Others arrive with no idea where to begin.
We can work with either.
What customers can expect is access to information, meaningful choices, and enough time to make their own comparisons. Our role is to explain the products, answer questions, identify differences worth considering, and help narrow the options when guidance is useful.
We want customers to understand why they prefer one option over another rather than simply being told what they should buy.

Being locally owned means the reputation of the business is tied directly to the experience customers have with us. We value long-term trust more than making a particular sale, and we continue refining the showroom around what helps customers make better decisions.
That commitment has also received outside recognition. The Mattress Clinic was named the 2026 Best Mattress Store in Moore, Oklahoma by Quality Business Awards. You can learn more about that recognition on our 2026 Best Mattress Store in Moore Award page.
Where We Are Today
The Mattress Clinic has grown, our product selection has expanded, and the showroom now serves customers shopping for everything from mattresses and adjustable sleep systems to advanced massage chairs. What has not changed is the reason behind the business.
We believe customers make better decisions when they have good information and the opportunity to experience meaningful differences for themselves.
Whether someone needs a straightforward mattress comparison, wants to understand advanced sleep technology, is researching a premium massage chair, or requests the additional perspective available through Quynh, our job is to make that process easier to understand.
That remains the philosophy behind The Mattress Clinic.
