Massage, presets and bedside conveniences
Single Massage offers three intensities. Programmable Presets let you save preferred positioning, while under-bed lighting and USB-A and USB-C charging connections add practical bedside features. The Anti-snore preset is also included on this model.
12-inch adjustable legs and platform placement
Each included cylindrical leg is assembled from four 3-inch segments. Adjust the leg height during installation to suit your bed setup. Overall sleep-surface height also includes the base profile and your mattress.
The RIO 5.0 has a foldable design and zero-clearance construction for placement on a suitable platform foundation without the legs. Confirm the frame's support and usable inside dimensions before installation.
RIO 5.0 or RIO 4.0?
The key step up from RIO 4.0 is the combination of adjustable lumbar support, Auto Head Tilt and wall-saving movement. Compare how those features work with your mattress rather than choosing solely by the number of preset positions. RIO 4.0 remains a useful alternative when massage, charging and lighting meet your needs.
Split Head King requires a matched setup
For a Split Head King mattress, ask about paired Twin XL RIO 5.0 bases with the correct Ergomotion Foot Sync Cord. This dedicated accessory is different from a standard full-base synchronization cord and is sold separately. The base electronics, plug style and mattress configuration must match.

Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for a price adjustment, the product must be identical, meaning the same brand, model, and size. The lower price must be publicly advertised, currently available, and verifiable at the time of review. All requests must be made within 180 days of the original purchase date. Verification and approval must be completed in-store prior to any adjustment being issued.
Qualifying Retailers
Price adjustments are limited to authorized retailers offering new, first-quality merchandise that is available to the general public. The competing price must be for the same exact product, in the same condition, and available for immediate purchase under standard public pricing.
Excluded Retailer Types
Price matches are not available for auction, resale, or peer-to-peer marketplaces, including but not limited to eBay, Craigslist, and Facebook Marketplace. Price matches are also not available for closeout, liquidation, or bulk retailers, including but not limited to Costco, Sam’s Club, Overstock, The Dump, Wayfair, and Amazon. Membership-only programs, private pricing, employee discounts, insider pricing, and friends-and-family pricing do not qualify.
Excluded Products and Pricing
The 180 Day Price Match Policy does not apply to clearance merchandise, floor models, open-box items, refurbished items, damaged items, discontinued products, or end-of-life merchandise. It does not apply to pricing errors, misprints, limited-quantity promotions, flash sales, or doorbuster pricing. It also does not apply to offers that include free gifts, rebates, gift cards, bundled offers, add-on incentives, financing incentives, deferred payment offers, or differences in service or delivery terms.
Price Adjustment Method
If a valid competing price is verified and approved, The Mattress Clinic will apply the appropriate price adjustment based on the original transaction. Any adjustment may be issued using the original payment method, store credit, or another adjustment method at The Mattress Clinic’s discretion.
