13-button wireless remote
The supplied RIO 4.0 wireless remote keeps head and foot articulation, massage controls, memory positions, Zero-G and under-bed lighting together. The updated remote shown here has clearly labeled M1, M2 and M3 memory buttons.
Head and foot adjustments let you change the angle of the upper and lower sections independently. The base also offers the One-Touch Flat position listed in Ergomotion's product sheet.
12-inch adjustable legs and zero clearance
Each included cylindrical leg consists of four 3-inch segments. Choose the leg height during setup; the base profile and mattress thickness also contribute to the finished bed height. Zero-clearance construction provides a placement option on a suitable platform foundation without the legs.
The foldable design helps with handling and transport. Ergomotion lists RIO 4.0 as courier-friendly, except King, which ships by freight. Delivery arrangements depend on the selected size and destination.

Choose RIO 4.0 when massage and charging are the priorities. Compare RIO 5.0 when adjustable lumbar support, Auto Head Tilt or a wall-saving design are important parts of the purchase decision.
A paired setup for Split Head King
For a Split Head King mattress, ask about a matched pair of Twin XL RIO 4.0 bases with the correct Ergomotion Foot Sync Cord. The dedicated foot-sync accessory and an ordinary full-base sync cord serve different purposes. Match the base electronics, connector and mattress configuration before ordering; the foot-sync accessory is sold separately.
Do not select an ordinary King base on the assumption that it provides independent head sections. Two Twin XL bases make a 76 x 80-inch Split King footprint, not a California King footprint.

Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for a price adjustment, the product must be identical, meaning the same brand, model, and size. The lower price must be publicly advertised, currently available, and verifiable at the time of review. All requests must be made within 180 days of the original purchase date. Verification and approval must be completed in-store prior to any adjustment being issued.
Qualifying Retailers
Price adjustments are limited to authorized retailers offering new, first-quality merchandise that is available to the general public. The competing price must be for the same exact product, in the same condition, and available for immediate purchase under standard public pricing.
Excluded Retailer Types
Price matches are not available for auction, resale, or peer-to-peer marketplaces, including but not limited to eBay, Craigslist, and Facebook Marketplace. Price matches are also not available for closeout, liquidation, or bulk retailers, including but not limited to Costco, Sam’s Club, Overstock, The Dump, Wayfair, and Amazon. Membership-only programs, private pricing, employee discounts, insider pricing, and friends-and-family pricing do not qualify.
Excluded Products and Pricing
The 180 Day Price Match Policy does not apply to clearance merchandise, floor models, open-box items, refurbished items, damaged items, discontinued products, or end-of-life merchandise. It does not apply to pricing errors, misprints, limited-quantity promotions, flash sales, or doorbuster pricing. It also does not apply to offers that include free gifts, rebates, gift cards, bundled offers, add-on incentives, financing incentives, deferred payment offers, or differences in service or delivery terms.
Price Adjustment Method
If a valid competing price is verified and approved, The Mattress Clinic will apply the appropriate price adjustment based on the original transaction. Any adjustment may be issued using the original payment method, store credit, or another adjustment method at The Mattress Clinic’s discretion.

All price match requests are subject to verification and approval, and The Mattress Clinic reserves the right to deny any request that does not meet the requirements outlined in this policy. Policies may change without notice, and final determination rests with The Mattress Clinic.
